CASA GRANDE, AZ – The City of Casa Grande Community Services Department is excited to invite the community to this year’s annual Fourth of July Celebration. A full day of family friendly events is planned, and will kick off at the Palm Island Family Aquatic Center which will be open for half priced admission from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The pool is located at 1115 N. Brown Avenue and the cost for children will be $.50 and adults will be $1.00. Pool staff will be hosting games and contests in addition to providing open swim for patrons.
The festivities continue in the evening at the Paul Mason Sportsplex, where recreation staff will be hosting relay races, inflatables, water slides, music, contests, vendors, and more. Gates open at 6:30 pm for activities, and the fireworks show presented by the City of Casa Grande and SRP will begin at approximately 9:00 pm. A variety of concessions will be available for purchase as well.
The public should plan for traffic restrictions on Pinal Avenue in front of the facility for the duration of event, and motorists are encouraged to drive cautiously and patiently.
